      Hi all,

I encounter a very strange issue on one of my PfSense 2.4.4-RELEASE-p3 (amd64) .
I have two vlans on the same interface :
      igb2 : 10.5.50.1/24
      igb2.11 : 172.16.10.1/24

I set up a captive portal and select only the igb2 interface on the form.

The strange thing is that when I connect to my Vlan11 I get a good Ip address but I can not access local network or internet.
If on the captive portal I whitelist my mac address I get the internet working. this leads me to think that the captive portal block connection on the vlan11 interface.

      thank you for your help.
      David

        hi

        this is a known bug : https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/7553

the issue seems related to ipfw and its interactions with the freebsd kernel, it can't be resolved easly.
