Alias, Specify port number and TCP or UDP
-
unfortunately the forum software does not accept my question or is of the opinion it would be ....
-
You setup the alias, then specify tcp, udp, or both when you create the firewall rule.

many thanks

You do understand the default outbound access is any right. Out of the box your PBX would already have access to those ports both tcp or ud..
Did you modify the default lan rule?

That is not what you said..
You stated that the pbx on the lan, needs external access to...
what you want is port forwards... Why would you create alias for 3 port forwards?

You have 2 ports and a range.. This is would be done in 3 port forwards.. And this is where you would set tcp or udp.

it's not quite that simple. I wanted to realize it via the HA proxy. But I could not post the article. See:

HA Proxy?? Why would you think you should proxy this?? Your not going to proxy UDP..
