What is the best way to change the client config settings for openvpn connections? I'd like to run a chron job that changes the VPN servers i'm connected to periodically.

I've read that the configs are stored in the /conf/config.xml file, and then there's also the pfsense php shell, however per the documentation,

    https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/development/using-the-php-pfsense-shell.html

after writing configs, I need to restart? I'd like to do that without having to reboot the box.

    Thanks in advance
