      Hi there,

I currently have the following problem:
I want to separate my server from my Internet Access Gateway which also functions as a communication device in my LAN (connects to e-health card terminals).
My server needs to connect to the device in order to read the data from the chips (also vice versa).

What is the best way to do this? Define two LAN interfaces and open the ports required (443 for https Internet and the specific ports to read the chip data)? Or should I define the IAG as my WAN interface?

Either way, I need the pfsense Firewall to watch over the internet data.

      Thanks
