Hi guys! I run a Netgate SG-8860 (version info below) and am having a weird issue with aliases in firewall rules.

It seems that when I put FQDMs in my whitelist alias, pfsense doesn't resolve them to IPs and my allow rule never fires before hitting my outbound "reject all else" at the bottom of my LAN. However, if I create a new temporary alias it seems to resolve real time and work.

Can anyone confirm if I am doing something wrong, or if aliases are not working correctly in 2.4.4? I could theoretically make an individual fw rule for every item on the whitelist, but that sounds like a bad time... any suggestions for different approaches would be greatly appreciated!

        Hello!

Look at the contents of your alias tables under Diagnostics -> Tables and make sure they are correct.

Check to see if you are affected by this:
