      Hello,

I recently made the switch to pfSense and absolutely love it. I was running various routers with a cable modem and kept experiencing drops. Since switching which is about 3 weeks ago, not a single drop.

I was wondering if there are any guides that break down the process of resolving a domain to an ip address. Such as entering emby.domain.tld to access my emby server and drive.domain.tld to access my nextcloud which are hosted on my Unraid server, along with other sub domains. pfSense is running on a physical machine.

I have a domain registered with Google and it is pointing to my public IP using the DDNS within pfsense. I've tried following various guides, but can't seem to get it to work. They use different options like DNS-Manual vs HTTP Standalone. I'm not sure which is better to use when I would like to access these address from outside my network as well.

I'm not the best at this and still learning everyday. Thank you in advance.

Some of the guides I've used:

I got the certs figured out. Created a Cert for each sub domain I'll be using.

Still need some help with HAProxy. Anyone?
