    pfBlockerNG 2.1.4_21 totally lag system after pfSense upgrade from 2.4.4 to 2.4.5

      After upgrade system from 2.4.4 to 2.4.5 enabling pfBlockerNG case 100% CPU usage (by pfctl process), long boot, and pfSense works with spikes and hangs, LAN connection loses.

        I would recommend that you remove pfBlockerNG 2.1.4.21 and install pfBlockerNG-devel 2.2.5.29 which is the latest version of pfBlockerNG. I don't know why they don't remove the older version as it should not be used anymore. I believe there are known issues with it.

          Sounds like this issue: #10414

          Workaround: #901871 but maybe the firewall table is to small to use pfBlocker after the change...
