Installation looking for a network - Why??
-
Hello all.
Trying to install pfSense on ESXI 6.5 and having issues. I have followed the guides found on the internet. Downloaded the 64bit cd .iso which is uploaded to the datastore and directed to the CD drive option. When I boot the virtual machine up, I can see it seems to be searching for a network, does a dhcp search and show software not available.
Watching the guides, on boot up I should get the option to install pfSense but I don’t. Any ideas why?
TIA

Do I just remove the .gz from the end to make it a .iso

No.. you use a decompression program to pull it out of compressed form.
