I have fq_codel set up and functioning in version 2.4.5. When I update to 2.5 the traffic shaper limiters no longer work and I have no internet access. If I disable the floating firewall rule I get internet access again. I deleted the limiters and firewall rule and recreated with the same result. My hardware is Netgate SG-2440. Is there a known problem with 2.5 and fq_codel?

        Hi.
Limiters don`t work on 2.5.0 at all.

          Not true.
2.5.0 just functions differently to 2.4.x

I've successfully got limiters working with fq_codel in 2.5.0. The difference, you cant apply them as a floating rule, otherwise it breaks port forwarding(and probably other things).

If you apply the limiter pipe on a per rule basis(for example on the LAN interface), it works flawlessly. Yes it is extra work, but they do work.

Well I have like 12 subnets.
            What now?

It must be on WAN, because I need to limit wan not lan.
