    Hi all,

I recently setup fq-codel using floating rules as described here:

    https://forum.netgate.com/topic/112527/playing-with-fq_codel-in-2-4/815

One rule that is added is a quick pass floating rule that handles ICMP echo request and echo reply traffic (it helps get around a bug). However, the way this rule is setup (direction "any") it allows both outgoing pings and incoming pings: Hosts on my LAN can ping other servers on the internet (this is fine), but other servers on the internet can also ping my WAN IP (which I would like to avoid). What would be the best solution to alter this rule so that the firewall does not respond to pings from the internet? Instead of setting source to "any" in the rule, can I just set it to WAN Address like so:

Thanks in advance for your help, I really appreciate it.
