      Hello all,

I got my cousin finally to buy a mini computer from China and I installed Pfsense.
All went well. He wants Snort and has a free Oink code. But when I look at package manager on my Pfsense
box, it is no longer there. I installed Snort a few weeks ago on my machine and so far so good.
Is Snort still part of Pfsense?

        of course, it's still available.
        is it pfsense 2.4.5 ?
it's the only package missing ? or the list is empty?

          Yes, my version is 2.4.5.
          See attached screen grabs.2.png 1.png

I forgot to add: I have updated to newer versions of both packages. Still no Snort in "available packages"
          on my system.

If that is a screenshot of your active firewall, you have the Installed Packages tab active. And that tab shows Snort is installed on your machine (Snort and pfBlockerNG-devel). When a package is already installed on your machine, it is filtered from the Available Packages tab (because you can't install it twice).

The yellow highlight simply means an update is available, so clik the reinstall icon over on the right to update the package.
