      Hello,

      Could you help me ?
      I tried to install ntopng v4 and it say you already own a more recent v3.8 version.
      However the v4 is here : https://pkg.freebsd.org/freebsd:11:x86:64/latest/All/

      Code:
      [2.4.5-RELEASE][admin@pfSense.maisoncontemporaine.net]/usr: pkg add "https://pkg.freebsd.org/freebsd:11:x86:64/latest/All/ntopng-4.0.d20200414,1.txz"
      Fetching ntopng-4.0.d20200414,1.txz: 100% 6 MiB 520.1kB/s 00:13
      Installing ntopng-4.0.d20200414,1...
      the most recent version of ntopng-3.8.d20191111,1 is already installed
      [2.4.5-RELEASE][admin@pfSense.maisoncontemporaine.net]/usr:

        Here are 2 threads discussing v4 be ported to pfsense:

        https://forum.netgate.com/topic/151729/ntopng-new-version-v4-0-0-upgrade-notification-in-page-footer

        https://forum.netgate.com/topic/151764/ntopng-4-0-is-in-freshports-could-this-be-updated-in-pfsense-2-5-x

        I am not certain but think this has to happen first. You can force pkg install, pkg add -f but will likely run into issues.

          Can't find it now but i'm sure i read somewhere that 2.5.0 would include the updated version, so if you're desperte for it, give 2.5.0 a go.

          Looking at redmine there doesn't appear to be any obviously how stopping bugs, wouldnt recommend it in production though

            It is in the source tree... but how does the different releases (2.4.x vs 2.5.x) pulls from the repo, I am also not sure.
            https://github.com/pfsense/FreeBSD-ports/tree/devel/net/ntopng -> 4.0.0
            https://github.com/pfsense/FreeBSD-ports/tree/branches/2020Q2/net/ntopng -> 4.0.0
            https://github.com/pfsense/FreeBSD-ports/tree/branches/2020Q1/net/ntopng -> 3.8.0

              I tried installing 4.0 into pfsense 2.4.5 (pkg install -f ...) but I do not think I picked up all of the dependencies. Do you think that approach could work or is it necessary to wait for 2.5.
