Hello I am trying to ensure I am protected against MITM attacks. Is there a straightforward way to implement this with PFSense?

      Thanks,

What type of MITM are you talking about?
Generic anwer to your generic question: Use end to end encryption.

@Rico I am already doing encryption and will be implementing multifactor. I understand there is something called a squid certificate. Is this effective and is there a clear way to implement this?

Installing a Cert for Squid is to do MITM not to protected against it. ;-)
e.g. if you want to use AntiVirus with squid you need to break the encryption.
