      Hi,

trying to setup a TNSR VM on an older ESXi 6.5 system but getting:

Jun 10 09:45:31 tnsr-20-2 vpp: ERROR: This binary requires CPU with SSE4.2 extensions.
      Jun 10 09:45:31 tnsr-20-2 systemd: vpp.service: main process exited, code=exited, status=1/FAILURE
Jun 10 09:45:31 tnsr-20-2 echo: VPP stopped, modifying TNSR startup mode
Jun 10 09:45:31 tnsr-20-2 echo: TNSR startup mode switch : using running DB

and in clixon-cli can't connect to dataplane as tnsr.sock isn't found (obviously). So is the CPU too old for VPP to start? It's an older Xeon system?

      Thanks,
      Jens

Check on https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark.html if your processor supports SSE4.2.
