I think it would be nice to have the reports in a widget running on the dashboard like Suricata.

      How to proceed??

First, you have to repeat this question ones more. Which is an easy thing to do.
        But you won't.
Because you will be reading the next couple of lines and change your mind ;)

Check out for yourself what needs to be done so this page : Firewall > pfBlockerNG > Alerts shows up in your browser. A 10 colon thing btw.
Also, the main GUI dashboard page, the one that shows the widgets, is auto refreshing.
Which means that for every feeds, every x seconds (5 or so ?) the entire internal log has to be parsed out so that a nice (totally unreadable because it has to be kept a a 3 pixel size char set so it fit in a third of the screen's size widget colon.)

The alerts are already visible at one click away : just click any of these blue positive numbers in the packet colon.

A unique page will get created with the most recent alerts / DNSBL records. When ever you want.

Refreshing this main dashboard GUI for all the feeds a all the alerts will ... well, those who do not use a x core xxxx Ghz processor will come here to yell.....

        edit : Sh*t .... didn't recognize you.

        Ok, again :

        You asked for it.
        Simple.

        1. See how it's done now.
        2. Make it better.
        3. (optional) when you are happy with the results, please post here.

Just remember : Bill Gates applied these 3 rules. That is : he threw out rule 2 right away. He looked at the source (from CP/M that day). Changed every "/" for a "" (I'm rude here, I know). Sold it to IBM. In the beginning, he even did not apply rule 3. And became ... among others, very rich.
If you don't to get rich, forget about the selling part. Which makes thinks even simpler.
Btw : you know who @BBcan177 is ..... he would have implemented it right away if he didn't knew that - see what I said above - applied - the Netgate guys would have asked him not to do so ****
Widgets need to be clean, mean, fast etc.

**** edit : I'm speaking for other. That a big no-go. Please understand he ;) part here.

          Its not the same

You click on a list in the widget and get to that seperate list in a different window.

You click on Firewall -> PfblockerNG -> reports you get all the combined hits.

I want that in a widget.... just like Suricata.

So youre not answering my question....

I was presuming you would 'read between the lines'.

If the functionality doesn't exist right now, code it up yourself. It's PHP after all.
Or : see the Bountier forum.
            Or : as said : contact @BB.
            Can't think of anything else.
