• I've recently started using pfBlockerNG_devel on a few boxes, and I've come across a problem where if a reboot or power loss occurs then there will be no internet access until pfBlocker has been disabled. I tried downloading the Watchdog package thinking that might help but is hasn't. Is there a way to stop this from occurring?

  • What ver of pfSense are you running?

    What are your hardware specs?

Are you running virtual or bare metal?

    Anything interesting in the logs?

Run 'top' from a terminal window & see if pfctl (or anything) is maxing out cpu.

  • I'm running 2.4.5-RELEASE-p1

I don't know if these are the specs you were asking about:
    ARM Cortex-A9 r4p1 (ECO: 0x00000000)
Multiprocessing, Thumb2, Security, VMSAv7, Coherent Walk
    2 CPUs:
    SOC: Marvell 88F6820, TClock 250MHz, Frequency 1600MHz
Crypto: Marvell Cryptographic Engine and Security Accelerator

    I'm running bare metal

No I haven't noticed anything odd at all in the logs

I don't see anything maxing out cpu
