    I'm using 2.4.4-RELEASE-p3 with pfBlockNG/DNSBL enabled. Now I'm facing an issue when using google search in Chrome/any browser (i.e. searching for 'adidas') and then clicking the first hit I get an error about

    Attackers might be trying to steal your information from ad.doubleclick.net (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more
    NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID

    This is strange because I added ad.doubleclick.net to the whitelist.

    Also when checking pfBlockerNG/Alerts I can see the yellow lock:

    Is there anything else I need to do?

    thanks for your help.

      This appears to be a browser issue and not an issue with pfBlocker NG. Do you have any ad blockers installed in the browser your using? I get similar message from uBlock ad blocker that I have installed in Firefox browser.

      You probably are going to have to adjust some the default settings in the browser you are using. I don't use Chrome so I can't help you as to what to change to fix this issue.

        Thanks for your reply.

        I don't think it's client related. Because

        1. I'm getting the issue in various browser, tested chrome,firefox, IE and edge
        2. As soon as I disable PFblockerNG on pfSense the issue is gone
          3)the issue is also gone if I connect to the internet via my mobile (using 4G) rather than via WiFI(pfsense)

          Hi,

          i mean it is normal, then you click the "Anzeige" and behind this "Anzeige" is a https redirect to Ads Server System "ad.doubleclick.net" and pfblockerng broken this Link and you see this "Error Messages".

          To open this Link behind the "Anzeige" you must have add this "ad.WHATEVER" to DNSBL Whitelist in pfblockerng. i think you must clean the browser cache and try it again. i use always the Update / Reload DNSBL function too.

          but, what says your firewall / pfblocker logfiles in the same moment when you try it to open this link?

          BR
