I use GeoIP to permit only traffic from the U.S., India, and New Zealand. If I click on the number of packets from the widget on my pfSense dashboard for a particular continent, it takes me to Reports->Alerts for that continent. I see a large Permit section, and the country code for Asia, for example, are mostly only IN. However, there are a lot of NL codes as well. The Netherlands isn't in Asia, so what is this about?
I also sometimes get GB and DE under North America.
How can this discrepancy be explained?
