    Squid HTTPS Transparent proxy with Splice All + SquidGuard Blacklist (No client certificate): Same as DNS block?

      Is a Squid HTTPS Transparent proxy with Splice All + SquidGuard Blacklist (No client certificate) setup same as or effectively a DNS block?

      I have disabled caching and am only using it to block porn and some other content for a home network.

      I apologize if i am missing any other critical information.
