      Hi

The guys from OPNsense seems to have it solved in OPNsense as of now.

      https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=19141.msg87715#msg87715

When will this be available in pfsense??

The changes in their latest kernel (firmware in pfSense speak) were made in the FreeBSD source code. Assuming these changes were also submitted upstream to FreeBSD, then they should appear in a later FreeBSD-12/STABLE update in pfSense.

These were not changes in any Suricata code. They were modifications to the netmap driver itself within the FreeBSD operating system.

EDIT: upon further reflection, "driver" is not the best choice of word. It is literally the netmap "device".
