      Dear Guys,
I'm facing a problem after configuring some VPN users with Static IP in Client Specific Overrides. The problem is the case sensitive in the user names for example the username is "john.smith" and if the user type "John.Smith" the overrides configuration is not applied and getting IP from the DHCP which means VPN is un-controllable.
So, How can I fix this problem and force the user to use only "john.Smith"
      Thanks,

If the user has to type in "john.Smith" and he actually typed in "John.Smith" does he have access ?

User names and passwords are case sensitive, right ?

Btw : "John.Smith" seems - to me - the right one to use as names always start with a capital. Maybe you should correct that first.

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??

Both usernames are working, which is not good because only one of them applying the overrides.

          Yes, like John.Smith

for me OpenVPN must accept username typically as configured

Problem solved by unchecking "username as Common Name"
