      Hi all,

Been using PF for about 10 years and have had very few stability issues. However recently I have noticed that the OpenVPN service will randomly stop. The only changes mad to the device have been firmware updates. I tried installing the service watchdog package but this has done nothing. No notifications that the service stopped or attempts to restart it. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue with their device or solutions on how to keep this service from going down.

      Thanks

        Hi,

Is the OpenVPN service shutting down? (although I have never experienced this before)
-or you lose the connection, say in the client

        • For the first case, may be a solution the "service watchdog"

        • with the loss of the connection, - f.e. this:

        • OpenVPN client "Custom options":
          ;auth-retry nointeract

Cats bury it so they can't see it!
(You know what I mean if you have a cat)
