Server has internet connection of 300/300 fibre. Pfsense router is running on an intel 8250u so I think it should be sufficiently powerful.

I set up a VPN and was able to successfully connect to a PC outside of my home, but in my city. Was able to saturate the client's 40mbps download and I was able to download at 40mbps.

I have another client overseas that is on a 300+/300+ fibre connection. With default settings via the wizard (using a TAP) I am able to get 355kbps download and 100+mbps upload.

Seems pretty obvious that somethings off and I was wondering if anyone had any hints for me on how to solve this. I assume it is a config issue somewhere but its weird that I'm basically getting half the internet or getting the internet flowing in just 1 direction.

Also, given the distance, is 100+mbps pretty much what I should expect or should I be able to pull out 300+ mbps? The CPU was under 10% even at 100 mbps. Distance is Canada to Hong Kong.
