I just noticed freebsd 13 is scheduled to be released in march. Are there any plans to bypass freebsd 12.* for pfsense 2.5 and move it to freebsd 13? thanks. I would not like it if pfsense 2.5 was obsolete before it was released.

Why would you think that just because 13 comes out that 12 would be obsolete?

From what I see stable/12 is supported until June 30, 2024

Freebsd model for stable releases is 5 years of support
"Under the current support model, each major version's stable branch is explicitly supported for 5 years"

So if pfsense is on 12 stable good for quite some time.
