      Dear all,

to support some legacy devices, I need to extend a network in a remote site (A) to another site (B) in Layer 2.

The site (A) has an OpenVPN server offering TAP connections (I don't have access to change the config).

An OpenVPN installed in a desktop machine in site (B) can connect to site (A) and receive the packets from the remote site LAN, thus being able to DHCP offers from the remote site as well.

But when I configure the OpenVPN client in pfSense and then create a bridge to a local interface which is connected to a switch, the devices on the same VLAN as this local interface are able to receive the broadcasts from the remote site, but unable to send any packets to the remote site.

Capturing the packets on the OpenVPN client interface on the pfSense, I can see the DHCP requests, for example. But on the remote site these packets never arrive.

Any ideas what the problem may be?
