Dual WAN, dual OpenVPN
-
Hi all,
I'm trying to figure out how to set up two OpenVPN tunnels between two PFSense firewalls using the two WAN links, one WAN link per tunnel.
I need an OpenVPN tunnel established between WAN1 of FW1 and WAN1 of FW2; and
a tunnel established between WAN2 of FW1 and WAN2 of FW2.The WAN1 tunnel is not a problem but I don't know how to get the WAN2 tunnel up.
Do I need to assign localhost as the interface to use in OVPN settings with forwarding?
Thanks in advance.

@tsptsp
Simply add a static route on the client side for the servers WAN2 address using the clients WAN2 gateway. -

Hi and thank you for replying so quickly.I'm not sure from your reply if you're under the impression I already have both VPN links up and running.
To clarify, I can only get the WAN1 VPN up. I cannot get the WAN2 VPN up.
Each time I select the WAN2 interface under OpenVPN server settings, the VPN will not come up.
Thanks again.

@tsptsp
So there should appear hints in the OpenVPN Log to find out the reason.
