I have SG-5100 with Asus RT-AC86U in AP mode. AC86U is located in the 1st floor of the house. My issues that randomly I will have no internet access for my wireless device on the 2nd floor. One example last night, I was watching a youtube via kodi which connect to lan. My wife pointed out that she can't access internet on her device. When I stop playing youtube, she was able to surf the web. My connection speed is 300Mbps/16Mbps. I wonder whether there some setting I need to do on my pfsense to prevent any device from hogging all the bandwidth. Will able the traffic shaper help? I didn't have any issue when I was using RT-AC86U prior to moving to SG-5100. I also currently have 3 subnets: LAN, VOIP and DOCKER/VM.

You can do things to limit bandwidth or force even usage but you probably don't need to. There is no way you would be using anywhere close to 300Mbps watching youtube.
If other devices are not able to connect at all that's some other issue. Try to determine exactly what is working and what is not when that happens.
Can it ping the firewall? Can it ping an external IP? Can it ping an FQDN and resolve it?

@stephenw10, I tried your suggestion when I encounter that issue again.
