How to access PBX on other VLAN
-
Right now we are on a testing stage for PBX using IP, Analog is working fine.
The set up for PBX is that SIP provider gives us a default gateway in order to talk to their router.
192.168.1.97 is the gateway. 192.168.1.102 is the PBX System I want to hook the PBX to our network created VLAN for PBX then I realize that PBX has a different gateway.I want to use a softphone install on other VLAN but I cant able to communicate with the PBX.

VoIP is often on a VLAN. You say their gateway is 192.168.1.97? That sounds like your router. Are they providing SIP trunks? You'd need there IP address for that. Each LAN or VLAN will have it's own local "gateway" address that's used to get to the Internet. For example, my main LAN gateway is 172.16.0.1, but for my guest WiFi/VLAN, it's 172.16.3.1.

@jknott thanks for the reply,
What is the first thing to do for me to able to access the PBX on different VLAN?
right now I have 5 vlans that need to access the PBX I installed a softphone on their workstations.
I use my LAN for my Internal Devices and I have Multiple vlans on that interface eg. ix0.vlan1 ix0.vlan2 etc.
my only problem is that i want to hook it on my network but I don't have idea to do it.
thanks.

You will need firewall rules to allow the LAN and VLAN to communicate.
