I updated to 2.5.0 and my internet was gone
I use nordvpn and tried to restore a very recent backup from the time i was on 2.4.5 but after restoring it i have the same issue as it does not restore the OS to 2.5.4 but stays om 2.5.0
Then i tried to reinstall nordvpn but there are new fields in the client vpn configuration that are not in the nordvpn instructions they have on their site.
I have noticed that the connection drops out after the installation of the nordvpn client, and when disabling the client it comes back online.
So only the CA is installed (after that the connection also keeps online) and the client is installed and then the internet drops out, to reconnect after disabling the client again.

So i wanted to reinstall 2.5.4 but i cannot find it anywhere on the https://www.pfsense.org/download/ site
So if anyone could help me either with getting things up and running with nordvpn and 2.5.0 or let me know where to find a 2.5.4 version
Any help is greatly appreciated šŸ¤’

Here is a discussion with a possible solution/workaround for 2.5.0.
My NordVPN tunnel is properly running with this setup:

@psp that fixes the connection problem (just checked) (many thanks for that!!!)
data encryption negotiation on breaks it and turning it off enables it again
Stange behaviour as i am on a clean install and only configured the CA and the client, no other steps like DNS resolver settings or anything else

            Just a note ....

Have you guyzz actually tried to revert the negotiated algo's ?

As it is , a working negotiated setup , might select and use 128-bits instead of 256-bits.

Below the window it says the order is respected.
And that makes me always put 256 before 128

            I don't have Nord , and haven't upgraded to 2.50 yet
