Just a random thought. As WireGuard doesn't bind to a specific interface, I was wondering if adding a static route that sends traffic going to a WireGuard peers Endpoint IP address out of a openVPN gateway interface, would send WireGuard traffic through the openVPN tunnel? I don't have any reason to do it I just wondered if there's a reason it wouldn't work.

    Thanks.

@jimbo123 Just setup Outbound NAT and Gateway Rules for your Wireguard Net and it works.

@p1erre That's pretty cool. I don't have a WireGuard endpoint to play with so thanks for testing it. It kind of negates the point of using WireGuard for slight it's speed benefit over openVPN, but still that's pretty cool.
