      Hello,

I'm trying to receive packets such as TCP SYN, TCP SYN-ACK up to 10Mpps through GRE Tunnel in TNSR.

      • Source IP generating TCP SYN, SYN-ACK is random.

The hardware specs in the lab are as follows.
      CPU : Intel Xeon E5-2680v4 * 2ea (28 Core, 56 Thread)
      RAM : 128GB DDR4 ECC REG
      NIC : Intel X520-DA2 (two 10Gbps SFP+), Intel i350-T4 (four 1Gbps Copper)

Currently, the number of dataplane workers is adjusted to 24 after installing TNSR and establishing GRE tunnels.

In order to get better performance in receiving TCP SYN related packets through GRE tunnel, I would like to get advice on what kind of tuning is needed in setting Dataplane CPU Worker, Dataplane Buffer, and Memory (etc.).

      thank you.

We recommend you start much, much smaller on the workers. Say 1.

What kind of performance are you seeing?

        How are you testing?
