      Hi
This is the first time I have issue with updating this package. Currently I have 3.0.0_10. I wanted to udpate when there was _11 or _12 (don't remember exactly) but I couldn't because all I've got was: Please wait while the update system initializes and that's it. Nothing happened for long time. After looking at the forum I've noticed that there were some issues so I thought that maybe it was pulled off or something.
Anyway, now we have _15 and I still can't update with the same behavior. I'm not sure how can I check what's going on.

The system is on custom hardware, with 2.4.5-RELEASE-p1 under the hood.

Pretty sure you'll need to upgrade to 2.5 to get pfB _15.

@provels Hm...I did wonder about that but there was no indication that it's needed and also why it's even available for me to try to update then? Anyway if that's true then I'll wait because looking at the forum I'm a little bit afraid of update to 2.5 :P

@draghmar if you were on 2.4.5 and installed a package from 2.5 it could have installed dependencies from the later OS or PHP. Proper method is to use System/Update to change to previous stable version before installing any packages. If things don’t work you may need to reinstall 2.4.5...

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

@teamits Ok, but since when pfB needs 2.5 to work? The only thing I tried was to update package that is normally listed for my current version of pfSense, which is 2.4.5.

PF Blocker doesn't need PFSense 2.5, but if you have Package Manager set to show updates for the current version (2.5) and you have 2.45p1, those packages and updates may not be installable on 2.45p1.
Navigate to SYSTEM/UPDATE. What branch is it set to display updates for? Change it to 'Previous Stable Version' to see the updates for 2.45p1.

                500gig WD Blue nvme

                PFSense 2.72-RELEASE

@tzvia I had it set to 2.5. I had no idea that this setting impacts packages, especially since there's clear mention about this being related to firmware update...weird design.
Anyway, after changing it to 2.4.5, the _15 is gone from the list. Which I guess is ok.
                  Thanks.
