Forum notification emails not arriving

@teamits
test20 min later, nothing.
-
Yeah.
Mail traffic came to a complete stop.
For several days now. -
@gertjan
Just got email on your post. -
Makes me think :
I'm hosting my own mail server, the fist MX with a prioriy 10
The second one has priority 20. This backup server is based in SGB3 - neighbour of the OVH data center burned in France. Although my server is fine, all connections are lost.
This backup server is also a slave domain name server (I've 4 of them).I'll remove the backup mail server from my zone, and remove the role as slave domain server.
Done.
( blew DNSSEC out of the water, but that's fine for now )netgate.com is using Google to send forum mails :

The DKIM signing part is messy (well, its Google, that insist on receiving good DKIM specs, but when they send things are less urgent ).
I'm not blocking "2607:f8b0:4864:20::c2e".

@johnpoz
If your account is set up to receive mail ....................................Wtf : I visited my profile a while ago and re-did some "when to receive mail" settings ....
I check ....
edit : oho lol :
So I get where I was asking for ....
Nothing. -
heheeh - yeah your not going to get emails - if you don't ask for them ;)
Its possible they updated something in the background.. Notice that the recent posts are no longer on the bottom of the page, etc. Possible update in the forum software? Maybe some settings like that got reset?
-
test ....
-
@gertjan are you trying to test notification? Does that work for your own posts? ;) Here I responded to this thread did you get a notification?
-
@johnpoz said in Forum notification emails not arriving:
are you trying to test notification?
Yes, your post triggered the sending of a mail. I received it.
@provels : for me it's ok now. The issue was myself.
-
I got an email notification from another thread last night around 10:20 pm CDT, and I think all from Gertjan's message (#3) on in this thread. So it seems to be working again.
-
Hmm, I stopped getting email notifications on Feb, 21. Our spam filter shows the last inbound email was 8:16 pm US CST. My forum settings show the email notification.
-
@steveits so I had trimmed my notifications way back.. But I don't show anything since
Mon, Feb 21, 5:49 PM (2 days ago)
You could thumb up one of my posts ;) I do get notifications of those - hehe
-
