      Hi
      I was following this tutorial below to set up my bridge network within my lan:

      –
      WAN = Realtek > rl0 > 192.168.141.203/24 >>>> GO TO >>>> my Lan with many clients
      LAN = old winbond > ed0 > 192.168.141.204/24 >>>> GO TO >>>> Webserver (linux)

      I bridged LAN > WAN

      set rules

      WAN = PASS *      *      *      *      *      *   ( I think every thing is allowed)
      LAN = PASS *      LAN net      *      *      *      *             Default LAN -> any

      disable NAT: Firewall > NAT >  Outbound > (X)Manual Outbound NAT rule generation (Advanced Outbound NAT (AON))

      in the auto created > (X) No NAT (NOT).

      I installed the antivirus software package and enabled transparent mode on the lan side. I update the definitions and rebooted the firewall.

      The problem is that I can still download a test virus. This is a fresh install of pfsense with antivirus. I was wondering if bridging has something to do with this.

      I have the same setup as above.

      Any suggestion for me.

      Thanks all
