      Re: Some download FAIL alerts

Some time ago I started this topic about some DNSBL updates failing. Poster DaddyGo mentioned that BBC_DC2 needed registration, which I now applied for.

Reading back I realised that this was only applicable for BBC_DC2, while I also had updates failing for three malwaredomains lists:
      MDL
      MDS
      MDS_Immortal

I found that these lists aren't maintained any longer. So what do I do? I am just starting out with pfSense so I can't decide if I even need these lists and what for, let alone define my personal needs and look for other lists.

#1 I did find krisk intel and added the Covid-19 list and the Malicious domains list. Are they a good replacement?
#2 If I set the malwaredomains lists to "OFF" will it still use the entries as is but stop trying to update so the update fail notifications will stop?
#3 Is it even useful to keep using a list that is not maintained?

      Thanks!
