    Keep Snort Running after error with downloading new rules

      Hi,

      Few times recently I have seen snort stopped, because there was an issue with downloading new rules. Is there any setting, I can use to keep it running with the old rules even though the download has failed; may be keep using the old rules until the new rule can be downloaded correctly or user can fix the issue,
      Please let me know,

        @molykule That's the behavior it is supposed to do ... did you checked the log when it stops? Are you using the Snort subscriber rules?
