      Hello,
Can i change the openvpn login name and still keep/use the same client configuration file.

For example current openvpn login name is Cg7852 i want to change it to charles.gopher@domain.com or cgopher

Can I keep the same configuration file or do I need to remake the client files from pfsense server again and send the new ovpn file to the clients

      Thanks!

I think i tried to use xxx@yy.zz as an openvpn username.
pfSense didn'ẗ like the @ in a username

        I ended up using xxx-yy.zz

If the server isn't set to use client certs, then it shouldn't matter what username they are using, as long as it's valid.
