      Hi,

looking for a affordable 2 port 10Gbps NIC that also supports 1Gbps (need the 1Gbps for one port to start, but later on both need 10G and preferably with RJ45). Is there a difference between the AT2 and T2 in pfsense use? I mean the T2 is over double the price so there must be a difference that I didn't find after a quick search.

Also open for other suggestions that works well with pfSense and that can be found easily (used also ok) in Europe.

      Thanks in advance
      Nicke

X550-T2 is an NIC but X550-AT2 is a chip so be sure you're comparing like for like.

@stephenw10 You're right, I mixed them. The NIC I was looking at was the Gigabyte CLN4222 (~200€) with the AT2 chip vs the Intel X550-T2 NIC (~300€).

@nickehallgren i've been using solarflare 10g network cards with pfsense. they work great. you can find them for cheap on ebay. Don't about EU though.
