Hi,
I have exactly the same problem. FreeBSD doesn't see this microdrive at all.
This model seems problematic… My advice : change it for another one. My Hitachi 4G is working perfectly (serial : HMS360404D5CF00)
Regards

If you search the fora you will see that a number of other people have had problems with at least some Seagate micro drives.
In my case the drive seemed to work OK in a Compact Flash to USB adapter but not in a Compact Flash to IDE adapter. It was some time ago I tried this and I think I also had trouble with at least some versions of Linux and the same drive in Compact Flash to IDE adapter. Compact Flash cards in teh same Compact Flash to IDE adapters worked fine.
