Nope, it doesn't make sense, (?) - why don't you make your own thing and then you can put your own logo.
I'm really nervous about these questions, but I have other things to do,......
(I finally get to go on holiday after 1.5 years of being cooped up and see my parents)BTW:
don't be angry with me otherwise I could be a funny guy like you+++edit:
unbelievable, but I show: -

Wanting to change the logo, essentially rebranding the software, suggests you want to do it for commercial reasons so I would suggest you contact Netgate directly if this is what you want to do to know what their terms are...
Have a nice day,
Nick

@daddygo thanks, it's still an open source.. i could upload an image of my own, but that requires too much of a coding skill, which i don't have.

You misunderstand that, open source does not mean that you can safely rename it for commercial purposes.

a plain and simple NO YOU CAN NOT because it's a violation of the T&C and License
and don't you dare to cross the road with the open source argument cuz what you asked for in the 1st place is a classic REBRANDING of the software in other words a crime and soon to be fun time with corporate law firms no matter if you think its open source. a quick hint, read the T&C and LicensebrNP

@noplan omg, didn't need that level of shouting..
-
ooooh yes !
you deserve this one especially in times of pfSenseCE and pfSensePlusanyway
why would I rebrand one of the best systems on the market ?NP
-
-
@daddygo How to prove that?

I just quoted @noplan but at the same time agree with him...
lest I forget you've been hanging with us around for a while
you certainly don't do it out of necessityBTW:
tell me another product that is better and I will go with you
-
@daddygo I am asking... how to prove that pf is superior to other products?
What are the advatages of using pfsense compared to other products like Mikrotik, RouterOS, OPNsense and branded FW's like Cisco, Netgear, Fortigate asf??
They are paid options with proven hardware that can withstand updates and warranty and customerservice is located worldwide.
So pls. tell me....what are the proven advantages of Pfsense besides the great community??

I understand what you asked, and I in turn answered.
I see you get the point...
Do not use if it hurts or stings or itches -
@daddygo So you cant....
Exactly my point. To sell something you need to be better at something than the other guys...

I'm not going to get into a pointless debate, so I'll answer like this, PEACE

one of the best systems on the market
@Cool_Corona if u take a close look and read precisely what i wrote you'll see
that it is not superior to others it is JUST one of the best system on the market among others in that segment.don't get me wrong i'm pretty sick n tired of gettin draged into a discussion like this, anyway
let's make it quickThey are paid options with proven hardware that can withstand updates and warranty and customerservice is located worldwide
for good morning:
on the one hand side use netgate hardware and a pfS+ version,
on the other hand u can get nearby worldwide support from pfS partners also here in EUROPE
plus the community Support for freeWhat are the advatages of using pfsense compared to other products
for good afternoon:
if the solution the architect or the engineer offers fits for your use case pfS can beat any system
if the use case requires lets see /say checkPoint than checkPoint it ism so what
U see i'm not going down that open source vs closed source debate road, and that's the reason why i wrote one of the best systems on the marketTo sell something you need to be better at something than the other guys
for good night:
wrong thinking, following you into that sale force rabbit hole, at the bottom line always following your argument (to be better at something than the other guys), you only have to be a dime cheaper than the other product to sell it, if no one cares about the use case.to wrap it up
use the system u like best that fits your needs for me and many others here it's in July-2021
pfSense, maybe that may change in the future but i'll cross that river when i get there.
And yes, I also use cisco ASA, sophos, checkPoint, barracuda, sonicWall
,openSense, untangle out in the wild.so i'm with closin like @DaddyGo
PEACE
NP /out
