How to define OSPF route priority

I have a clustered firewall connected to my home network and other cluster pair is connected to my office. I have configured the OSPF on both the pairs, home and office network. Whenever my office firewall enters into carp maintenance mode, I lose my connectivity. The only way to regain the connectivity is either by leaving the maintenance mode or halt the firewall. Please suggest some solution.
