I was using this pfsense box since 2.4.3 on spectrum for the past year++ before switching over to FIOS. Today, is my first day with FIOS and I was plying valorant (riot fps game). I was getting these random 100% packet loss several times each minute. Making the game unplayable since I am rubber banding.

I went and asked on FIOS forums, they told me to connect to computer directly to the ONT box. This had performance improvement since I was not getting 100% packet loss -- 10-65% packet loss. I tried swapping cat6 wires and trying another network switch and I've isolated it the pfsense box.

Anyone experience this while gaming getting 100% packet loss? I am looking for it to handle it more gracefully similar to PC > ONT setup. I will reach out to verizon on packet loss in general but it appears pfsense box cannot handle this.

I was getting this issue in 2.4.3 and upgraded to 2.5.2 --- same 100% packet loss.

PC > ONT (skipping pfsense) https://imgur.com/Ifdg5IR --- not 100% loss so making the game playable
