I'm working through the WireGuard VPN Client Configuration Example and noticing a few things that seem to be out of sync with the current implementation.

      Specifically:

      • Peer WireGuard Address no longer appears to be configurable for a WireGuard peer, as described here. There's just no place to enter the address in the "Add Peer" screen.

      • I'm not seeing an automatic gateway created as described here.

I suspect maybe the docs have just gotten out of sync with the current implementation?

@dross The instruction regarding gateway automatically created is wrong. You have to add gateway manually.

For peer (the VPN provider side), the instruction is correct. The only address you need to input is the end point public address you obtain from the provider; and the allowed ips, which is usually 0.0.0.0/0
