I have an openvpn server setup on my Pfsense box. The hardware is an i3 with 8GB RAM and a 250GB SSD msata drive for storage. Everything works great. The Pfsense box is connected to fiber internet with a connection of 300 up/down. When I try to run speedtest.net from the client...an iPhone X remotely and if I'm on a slower connection like cellular or WiFi 100 up/down all is OK. If I'm connected to a faster connection, like another 300 fiber WiFi up/down the download speed to the iPhone is fine (I get about 250mbps) but speedtest.net seems to crash the upload...the upload test seems to freeze, the VPN connection is lost but reconnects towards the end of the speedtest. At that point connectivity seems OK again unless I do another speedtest. With a fast WiFi connection the upload test to the VPN server seems to make the VPN connection fail. Anyone have any idea what is going on?
