converting cisco ASR (bgp) config to FRR config

Hi there,

is there a good howto about switching from an cisco ASR1001 to an netgate hardware appliance (1541)? The docs shows a similar syntax of FRR compared to cisco ASR console.
Do some documentation exist about best practice on such a switch between these platforms?
Is it possible in general to replace an cisco ASA/ASR pair into one netgate appliance, or shout one use a netgate appliance as firewall OR router instead of both at the same time and hardware?
