      Suricata v6.0.0_13
This GUI package update adds a great new feature courtesy of Netgate developer @viktor_g. Currently this update is posted to the Development Snapshot branch of pfSense.

      New Features:

      1. Add the ability on the GLOBAL SETTINGS tab to use additional third party ruleset archives, and download/update them just like the current built-in rulesets. See Redmine Issue #11210. The admin can enter the rules download URL and optional associated MD5 hash check file, for an essentially unlimited number of third-party Suricata rules providers.

Caution! Any rules archives you enable here must be in a format Suricata recognizes.

      Bug Fixes:
      None

        Hi bmeeks,
I have upgraded my pfsense 2.5.1 on stable branch to 2.5.2 stable branch but the suricata package installed is 6.0.0_14.
        I don't know why.

The suricata package for 2.5.2 branch is 6.0.0_14 ?

        Thank you !

Yes, some of the GUI updates made it into the Release branch.

The new 6.0.3 update should be posted for the Development Snapshots branch (or it will be shortly). That Pull Request has been approved and merged.
