    Configured Guest OS does not match the running one

      Hello all,

      My setup:
      esxi 6.0 U3
      pfsense 2.5.2-RELEASE (amd64), vmware tools version 10.1.0_5,1
      Virtual machine Compatibility ESXi 6.0 and later (VM version 11) - the highest version for esxi 6.0

      The Guest OS is set to FreeBSD 64 bit (there are no other specific versions in esxi) and vmware is complaining about not having the correct guest OS version, but there is none other available to select.

      In the same time , the vmware tools are reporting that a newer version is avalable, or am i understanding wrong from that message?

      Anyway, what can be done in this situation and how does this impact the VM operation itself?
