is there a syslog howto somewhere?
-
I have recently reinstalled TNSR homelab edition after having tried it out like 6mts ago.
I have been able to configure it as an (IPv4) router rather quickly (the IPv6 features are not there yet, like prefix delegation or configurable RA messages).
I would now want to point the machine to a syslog server, and I have not yet found where the basic parameters like syslog server, facilities, severities and so on. I have noticed that the services themselves offer possibilities to do logging (like kea dhcp4 and others), but I am missing the basic setup.
Can anyone please point me towards the documentation for this part? I haven't been able to find it in the Netgate Docu section for TNSR, either (and I would think it belongs in the "zero to ping" section)...

@helmlein There are currently no hooks to change the syslog destination behavior. Any changes would need to be made to the CentOS host OS.
