After full hdd install can't ping the wan interface

WHy is it that i can't ping, ssh and access webgui in the wan interface after configuring the IP address to static?
only lan interface can ping, ssh and access the gui. please help! newbie here! Thanks

Did you create a firewall rule allowing access to the WAN?

Yup! My rules are listed, please check.

Action: Pass
Interface: WAN
Protocol: TCP
Source: Any
DEStination: Any
Destination port: both HTTP

Destination should = "WAN address".

If you want ping you need to have a rule for at least icmp with echo.

Thanks its working! i am able to ping the wan interface and i can also access the webgui, except for the ssh!
