Does pfsense LAGG support a Switch Independent mode?

I have a Netgear switch that supports VLANs but does not support LACP.
I have a Windows Server, that I was able to set up NIC "teaming" with "Switch Independent" mode and it seems to work with my Netgear switch without having to do anything other than put all of the tagged vlans on the switch ports.
This got me to wondering if I can do the same thing with pfsense LAN. Would the "Load Balance" mode work without having to configure a LAGG on the switch?
